According to psychologists, the body reacts to it physically, psychologically or physiologically (I call them The 3P).

Immediate response to stress in your body means your nervous system launches an action by releasing hormones that encourages you either to fight or flight, it is called fight or flight response. In this kind of situation, the heart beats faster, breathing becomes faster, tensed muscles, and sometimes you start sweating. Overtime it stays for a short period of time and the body defeats stress, but in a case of a long period of time, these hormones stays and causes wear and tear to the body, this however makes the body to be prone to illness.

Psychologically, you may experience tension, fear, apprehension, sadness etc.
Physiologically, you may experience muscle tense, sweating, faster heartbeat, blood pressure, depression, heart attack etc.
Physically, you may experience headache, fatigue, difficulty in sleeping, difficulty in concentrating, stomach upset, skin problems (acne, eczema etc.)
